Out of curiosity what makes a 拯救 “shady?” I happened to be browsing Petfinder recently and was surprised at how many shelters seemed to be getting dogs from out of state shelters or some undisclosed location. Some of them had some pretty impressive adoption fees. I am not sure what I think about bringing in dogs from other areas. I do think that 拯救s should do what they can to recoup their costs, but I admit that I almost wondered if some of the 拯救s were actually some kind of money making scheme.

Oh, and even if the dog is put down P.U.R.R.R. still keeps the hundreds of dollars in adopting fees. People need to carefully research 拯救s before adopting from them. Even a simple google search can uncover complaints about a particular 拯救.
